HOURS OF OPERATION

The Mariposa Superior Court is open to the public Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. A drop box is available for filing documents between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM and between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Documents placed in the drop box will be filed as of the date submitted, but any documents to be returned will not be available until the following day, if submitted between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Only checks and money orders will be accepted for filings in the drop box. Do not include cash. We are closed on state holidays, as well as judicial holidays when Mariposa County Offices may be open.

    DISABLED ACCESS

    Disabled access is available through the rear entrance of the building on Jones Street. Although no elevator access is available to the main courtroom on the second floor, a second courtroom on the ground floor is available to accommodate those unable to climb stairs. If you should require such accommodation, please make a request at the public counter of the Clerk's Office prior to any proceedings you wish to attend.
